Recertification CPR Courses
Brampton First Aid CPR provides re-certification classes for those who have previous certificate issued within 3 years. Proof certification is due on the day of the course. Please note, the re-certification criteria varies for each course and is dependent on the organization. Students will be required to show proof of certification from either Canadian Red Cross or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
How does Recertification work?
In order to renew your CPR certification, you must sign up for the full 7 hours in-person class for Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C. Registration takes just minutes – and can help you provide life-saving care during cardiac or breathing emergencies.

Standard First Aid Renewal
Standard First Aid Recertification is 1-day (7 Hour) course intended for people whose current Standard First Aid CPR AED Level C card is nearing expiry. It reviews proven methods for providing standard first aid to injured or ill persons. Through instruction, demonstration, and practice, participants will learn how to determine the severity of a patient’s condition and practice safe intervention when providing them with emergency support.
Recertification only applies one time. Individuals in possession of an existing recertification certificate are required to take the full Standard First Aid Level C course.
BLS Provider Renewal
BLS Provider Renewal course is a fast-paced course designed for experienced healthcare providers; covering single-rescuer and multi-rescuer basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. The BLS Provider Renewal course assumes comprehensive awareness, knowledge and skill proficiency in Heart & Stroke BLS concepts. The course is best suited to healthcare providers who use BLS skills regularly and therefore require limited practice to be successful.
Emergency First Aid Renewal
Basic one-day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
